Accessibility

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.

What we have done. Semantic HTML with a single, correctly ordered heading structure on every page. Text and background colour combinations checked to meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1. Descriptive alternative text on images. Forms with properly associated labels. Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menus. A layout that reflows to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling. No text embedded in images, and no motion or animation.

Known limitations. Some content is presented in tables — cost comparisons in particular — which can be slower to navigate with a screen reader. Where a table appears, the same information is summarised in the surrounding text.
